We provide scheduled, complimentary ground transportation for your Saturday or Wednesday arrival and departure to and from San Diego International Airport. We also provide transportation to and from the Tecate border. Arrival and Departure plans must be submitted no later than two weeks prior to your arrival. Any additions or changes beyond this date are subject to availability.

Keep in mind we are located in Mexico and a valid passport is mandatory for international travel.

Centro Intacto is a growing retreat center, and while we do not yet offer charter transportation, we are happy to personally accommodate each guest’s arrival. To ensure a smooth experience, we kindly ask that you contact our Front Desk ahead of time to coordinate your arrival and departure plans.

Recommended Arrival Day: Saturday

We highly recommend arriving on a Saturday, as it aligns best with our guest transitions and allows for a full, immersive experience starting fresh on Sunday. This also helps us coordinate border crossings and driver availability more efficiently.

Travel Details:

Fly into San Diego International Airport (SAN).
From there, guests can take a rental car or rideshare to the Tecate border.
Once you’re near the border, we’ll guide you to secure parking on the U.S. side, and a Centro Intacto driver will meet you for pickup and assist with crossing into Mexico.
Border hours: 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

As a growing retreat center, Centro Intacto offers personalized assistance for each guest's departure. To help ensure a smooth return journey, we ask that you coordinate your departure time in advance with our Front Desk.

Departure Process:

Our team will arrange for a Centro Intacto driver to escort you to the Tecate border.
After crossing back into the U.S., you can retrieve your vehicle from the secure parking lot on the U.S. side or arrange for a ride from there.
Please allow ample time for border crossing, especially on weekends when wait times can be longer—anywhere from 30 minutes to 3+ hours, depending on traffic.

Driving Directions to the Tecate Border – For Centro Intacto Guests

Driving to the Tecate border is a peaceful and scenic experience, especially along Highway CA-94, which winds through beautiful rural landscapes. Do keep in mind that the highway includes a few turns and splits, so using GPS is highly recommended to stay on track.

Step-by-Step Directions:

Start on Interstate 5 South from downtown San Diego or the airport area.
Take the exit for Highway 94 East and continue for 13.3 miles.
Turn RIGHT onto CAMPO RD / CA-94, and continue on CA-94 for 23.6 miles.
Bear RIGHT onto CA-188 / Tecate Road, and follow it for 2 miles until you reach the Tecate border crossing.
